When I look back, I realised that my journey began the moment I started asking myself the hard questions — about purpose, freedom, and what it really means to thrive.

For years, coaching was quietly present in my life. I would find myself drawn to supporting others, asking questions, and guiding conversations. What I didn’t see at first was that coaching wasn’t just something I did — it was at the core of who I am.
Over the last 20 years, this realisation transformed me. I began to see that the freedom, independence, and sense of purpose I longed for could all be found by aligning my career with my deepest values. It wasn’t an overnight shift — it took self-reflection, courage, and a willingness to let go of the path I thought I should be on, in order to embrace the one that felt true.
What I discovered was the power of choice. Having options in life — and the courage to choose in alignment with my vision, values, and goals — changed everything. I created a life where passion and purpose work hand in hand, where independence allows me to make the impact I always dreamed of.
This personal transformation led me to create Thrive Within Coaching and Consulting. What began as my own search for alignment has grown into my life’s work: helping others find the clarity and courage to thrive on their own terms.
Thrive Within isn’t just a practice. It’s the story of my life — a reflection of the questions I dared to ask, the choices I made, and the transformation that followed. It’s proof that when we honour what matters most, we can create a life that is not only successful, but deeply meaningful.
I had the chance to take Geraldine’s coaching session when I lost my first job due to the pandemic. I was initially hesitant and did not think it would help me as I was so depressed and never expected that I would benefit from the sessions, or it would be of any help to get a job. But to my surprise the sessions were so effective, and I started to realize it had a great impact on my mental health. And that’s when I started to understand how being conscious of our state of mind has great impact on all aspects of life. Geraldine was very patient and listened to all my concerns during the time and made me realize the importance of thinking consciously and importance of positive state of mind. This made me understand the fact, living and thinking in present will help me think straight and be mindful of my thoughts. Through the sessions I was able to come out of the stress and attain the confidence which also resulted in securing a new job.
